The Dawn Campaign

The Dawn of Divine is the new campaign began in Autumn of 2009 by Jeff. The game is being run utilizing the release version of the Pathfinder RPG, a 3.5 edition iteration.

Some house rules are in play, by far all of which are optional.

Overview

The Mortality Campaign was the first run through adventures in the lands Rayeta, a world recovering froma cataclysmic Ice Age. The current age of several centuries, the Age of Spring saw a world with vast wilds, remnant horrors of demonic era, and lands bereft of divine powers, with Gods seemingly having fled the world. There is a vibrant, but alas, largely intractable history of prior great ages.

Elemental powers that are primal have waned, but much still terrorizes and manipulates much of the conventional world despite the resurgence.

The principal action begins on the continent and islands close to Drechyus - This is the largest known landmass on the world, and the one with the most relevant and robust known history even to the Forest elves. Glaciers and Cursed Ice diminish but remain relevant, and many seek the return to the state of affairs of the cataclysm.

The gods return, but without large splash or visible heroes responsible for it. Cults and priests woke up one day with new powers while two years prior they had none. The new divinity has stimulated a jockeying for power between, and within nations.

It should be fun.
